Heck no I'm not ready.Just got the tree up this weekend. I will do my shopping this coming weekend and call it a day. I'm just buying for my daughter this year and she is fun to shop for. You done with shopping yet?

i'm almost embarrassed to tell you how little i do for christmas. i haven't put a tree up for years. usually shop on xmas eve at target, but this year i did it donald style.

here's an email i sent a friend who asked if i was ready...

"ready for christmas? yes, because i'm keepin' it small this year. i have really nice gifts for my kids and mom and one sister. we'll all go to that sister's for the eve and day, but the rest of the family will be elsewhere and i'm slacking off on getting them presents. (yikes! i hope that doesn't sound as bad as it does to type it.)

i think it'll be a pretty mellow time.
i hope yours is everything you want it to be, too."
